American Gangster
Sometime last week I watched American Gangster and thought I was watching the 70's version of Law and Order. Thumbs_down. Way down.
And Dan in Real Life was pretty awful. Cook and Carell had their moments, but don't bother with it. Sondre Lerche did most of the soundtrack.

Hey, Man -- I liked Dan in Real Life -- Actually I liked it quite a bit. Realistic characters, good development, sweet love story and a family you'd like to be a part of. And the soundtrack was lovely with the tone of the story. What didn't you like about it?
and american gangster was the shiz. it gave a great look at someone making it to the top and the troubles and crap and vietnam and blow and it had nothing to do with being Italian.
1 and a half thumbs up cause it still sucked at parts
