You Gotta Check These Nikes At The Bottom Of My Pants. Or The Best of Rap Playlist (that I own.)

Note: I finish this playlist strong. The last three tracks are three of my favorite rap songs, and I'll argue that "We Major" is one of the greatest rap tracks composed. Seriously, if you remove the lyrics, you'd have instrumental Flaming Lips. And "Let The Beat Build" is the best song this year.

One. Who Killed It? - NaS

Two. A Milli - Lil Wayne

Three. Gold and a Pager - The Cool Kids

Four. Lip Gloss - Lil' Mama

Five. I Wonder - Kanye West

Six. The Cool - Lupe Fiasco

Seven. Check The Rhime - A Tribe Called Quest

Eight. Citronella - Aesop Rock

Nine. 3 Peat - Lil Wayne

Ten. Raid - Madvillain

Eleven. Sky Is Falling - Blackalicious

Twelve. Step Into The Relm - The Roots

Thirteen. Black Mags - The Cool Kids

Fourteen. Why Hip Hop Sucks In '96 - DJ Shadow

Fifteen. Side To Side - Blackalicious

Sixteen. Let The Beat Build - Lil Wayne

Seventeen. Int'l Players Anthem (I Choose You) Feat. Outkast - UGK

Eighteen. We Major - Kanye West

Shortlisted, "Paris, Tokyo" & "Daydreamin" - Lupe Fiasco, "All Caps" - Madvillain, "Bump" - Spank Rock
