Two observations:
1) Karen O must have seen Fiddler On The Roof at one point in her life, and after the nightmare scene with the dead bride haunting Tevye around, must have said, "that, that's what I want to look like. Make me look like her".
2) This costume also doubled as her initiation for the Chris Cunningham Fan Club. (If a club even exists.)
